April 2009

Kentucky’s worst natural disaster is now history. But the ice storm holds many warm stories of people getting out to help others. Marine Electric was on-call and on-the-job for many companies, including MSD, who as you can image, had their hands full.
The crews worked 24 hour shifts with MSD during the storm. The men drove to the MSD pump stations to check on their power. If generators were needed, a call was sent to have them expedited to the site. The engineers would hook up the generators properly, and quickly to get that area back to full-power. In addition, they would check for downed lines, trees, and any other obstacles that would prevent MSD from operating mode.
Such dedicated teamwork undoubtedly defines loyalty, dependability and goodwill!
