Charles A. Wirth, CEO/Treasurer
Graduate of the University of Louisville Speed School electrical engineering and involved with the construction industry for over 35 years. Charles spent ten years as a Sales Engineer with General Electric Company before joining the ranks of Marine Electric as an estimator and project manager in 1977. Charles has had a great deal of experience in the automotive, metal and chemical industry. He was part of a group that bought Marine Electric in 1980 and eventually became the sole Owner. He served as President from 1980-2004. In these years Charles grew the Company’s sales volume from $3,000,000.00 to $20,000,000.00+ today. Charles is presently involved with transitioning the Presidency but is still active with Marine’s Marketing efforts and estimating.
Daniel Swintosky, President
Graduate of Transylvania University with more than 10 years experience in the electrical industry. Daniel began with Marine as a truck driver during college summers before joining the estimating department of Marine in 1997. The following year he moved up into project management. Daniel helped initiate the development of our move into the Lexington market before being appointed President in January 2005. In addition to the duties as President, Daniel is Marine’s NECA representative as well as being on NECA’s Board of Directors and still maintains involvement with major accounts: United Parcel Service and Ford Motor Company - LAP.
Kenneth R. Goosey, Vice President of Estimating
Ken started with Marine in 1964 before joining the U.S. Army for two years of active duty beginning in 1966. Upon his return Ken rejoined the ranks at Marine where he has been employed for over 40 years. In this time Ken has served in many capacities from Draftsman to Owner. His experience and expertise is rarely matched in our industry. Currently Ken is responsible for all project managers, estimators and our Computerized Estimating System.
Dave Zoeller, Vice President of Field Operations
Dave has over 30 years experience in the electrical industry. He began as a field electrician/foreman before joining Marine as an estimator and project manager in 1977. Dave rose to be one of a partnership that Owned Marine before he ventured on his own to open Zoeller Electric in 1982. Dave successfully ran his own company for twelve years before returning to Marine in 1994. Aside from keeping our Field Operations in order, his vast experience in conveyor and industrial installations keeps him tied to many of our industrial accounts: Ford Motor Company – KTP, General Electric, Dupont, Englehard, Marathon/Ashland Oil and PTX.
Lisa A. Cundiff, Secretary/Office Manager
Has over 20 years of experience with Marine. Lisa manages our accounting department including accounts payable, receivable and invoicing. Additionally she oversees the general running of the office on a daily basis.
