Corporate Mission Statement

In addition to the above, certain principles and long-term objectives provide the fundamental and basic reasons for the existence of Marine Electric, the goals Marine Electric strives to achieve, and the principles by which it functions. Some of those goals are set forth below.

1. Establish prices of projects at levels which provide a fair value for the customer and a reasonable profit margin for Marine Electric.
2. Strive to continually reduce the relative cost of projects by more efficient use of personnel, control of materials, lower cost of materials, and control of expenses, and develop an attitude of cost consciousness and expense control with all employees.
3. Design and safely install projects according to all applicable codes and standards, and provide a system of quality control which assures compliance with their codes and standards and a high standard of overall quality and appearance.
4. Be a leader in each of the market areas where Marine Electric does business.  To accomplish this we must regularly evaluate industry products, preferences of consumers and prices of competitors in order to assure that market needs are met and Marine Electric’s market position is maintained.
5. Respect and deal courteously with suppliers of materials and services to Marine Electric.
6. Take advantage of all opportunities of Marine Electric to combine purchases, negotiate national agreements or otherwise to obtain lower prices for materials, and pay vendors promptly in order to take full advantage of all prompt-payment discounts.
7. Fully comply with all laws, ordinances and regulations of the various governmental agencies and jurisdictions under which Marine Electric operates.
